Breakfast at the Keio Plaza Hotel. When I walked in it was like a scene out of some film - waiters/waitresses at each table, greeting me as I passed them to my table. I told another ALT, "We're getting the red carpet treatment." I had a feeling that we were going to need this somehow, once we got to our schools. Just a gut feeling that this was all a big morale booster before the plunge.
