February 6th, evening.
I made the decision not to re-contract for
another year on the JET Program.
A lot of my friends know that this was a difficult choice. I kept jumping back and forth between 1 and 2 over the months.

While living in Japan is the easy part, there was a part of me that also felt more comfortable making the choice to return home.
Of course, there are other reasons I am not re-contracting.

When I was in junior high I had a curiosity about Japan. Now that I will be here for a year, I can go home knowing that I have fulfilled one of my childhood dreams.

It's not over yet. I am still here until the end of July. And there is still one place I have to visit before coming to closure with my dream.
