<p>Jon told me the apartment hadn&#8217;t changed all that much. When I went inside, a few pieces of furniture from the bedroom were moved out by the kitchen. Otherwise the place was almost exactly the same.  The only new addition was that the place smelled like cigarettes.</p>
<p>It was just slightly emotional being back in the place that was my home for a year. We ate Hokka Hokka Tei bentos while watching some Japanese TV&#8230;</p>
